My son keeps hurting me..

So my son keeps scratching, hitting and pulling my hair. I get that it's normal for him to do that but he's almost 10 months old. And we've been trying to work with him to stop cause he's actually drawn blood. I know he doesn't mean to hurt anyone and also doesn't know what he's doing.

I really don't like using the word no, and try to use different words like "Be Gentle" or "Stop".

I would think that maybe it would start to click with him that he's actually hurting me.

Is that stupid of me to think that or should I just be patient with him and just roll with it until he stops?

This is my first baby and I love him dearly but it's getting kind of frustrating.. and helpful and kind input would be great. Thanks.
