newborns and water?

My baby is 3 weeks and the weather in the U.K. is really hot at the minute. Can I give her water? I read so many conflicting things on this.

Babies kidneys are not mature enough until 6 months to tolerate water. I am a nurse and this is from literature.

You can literally drown their cells by giving them water. All the hydration they need comes from breastmilk or formula. It's extremely dangerous for them.

Don't give water unless you doctor specifically says to. If you're breastfeeding you will automatically provide extra water in hot weather! If formula feeding and you're worried, check with your doctor on what to do

Not at three weeks. It's really bad for their kidneys. Best thing to do would be to offer milk more often. 
I had the same issue with my son last year.
