When did you FTMs feel quickening for the first time?

Comment if earlier/later. (: I know it usually averages between 16-20w, and that it tends to be later for FTMs and earlier if you're skinnier, but I'm just so excited!!! I'm currently 15+4, but I'm so worried it's going to happen and I'll miss it the first few times! Also, was it obvious to you right away what it was, or could it be mistaken for something else?

I started feeling little flutters at almost 15 weeks, but refused to believe that's what I was feeling 😂 went to my appt the next week and doctor confirmed that it was indeed baby that I was feeling! We saw the movements for the first time from the outside at 19 weeks 💜

I never really felt flutters or "quickening". I felt two small kicks that were unmistakably kicks at 18w.

FTM and I felt the baby around 13 or 14 weeks. I was pretty tiny before getting pregnant, though, so maybe that has something to do with it.
I've also read that your placenta's placement can have something to do with it, too (but I don't know if that's actually 100% true, haha).
