husband has MRSA

My husband had several boils that popped up on his body last week and were highly painful. Went to the dr, said it was most likely staph, did a culture and started him on antibiotics. He's much better today but we found out that the culture was positive for MRSA. Since it's in his blood stream, he will be a carrier after the spots go away. He could have continuous outbreaks and pass it to me during an outbreak. He is so down and telling me to divorce him and find someone else. He says his life is ruined. Help???
