In lab studies pineapple applied directly to uterine tissue causes contractions. Stomach acid breaks down the enzymes that cause the contractions so by mouth it doesn't work. There is no scientific link suggesting eating pineapple can induce labor, no matter how many you eat.

It doesnt work. You'd have to eat at least 5 whole pineapples including the cores to maybe cause contractions.

Pineapples won't induce labor 🙄 It only helps regulate your contractions WHEN you're having slow labor. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I ate pineapple in conjunction with getting my membranes stripped. So I would say it worked for me but I could be wrong.
