Ranitidine 150mg?

Did anyone else's doctor prescribe Ranitidine 150mg? And if so how many times do you take it a day? 25 weeks pregnant

I've taken 2 a day for most of the pregnancy. I'm now 37 weeks.

That's just the active ingredient in Zantac. So the extra strength Zantac available over the counter is 150mg. And you can take one to two tabs a day. I was on a prescription for it several years ago due to gastritis and acid reflux and I was taking 300mg a day. That was many years before pregnancy. Now I just take one extra strength tablet, so 150mg same as you, every day. I buy off brand Zantac at Kroger. My OB said it's perfectly safe and if needed later in pregnancy I can add in the additional tablet everyday. So yes perfectly safe. Used by thousands of pregnant women every day.
