My dog

So i have two dogs coco and tiny. Anyways they are outside dogs and today they saw the bird on the ground chased it and the bird got scared and fly on to the fence it slipped got its leg stuck i went out helped it and saw that it broke its leg cleaned its leg whatever I've seen birds with one leg many times. Ten mins later i here the birds freaking out. I go outside and see coco with the bird in her mouth. I yell at her tell her to drop it and call my bf to come and help me. When i go back out i see tiny with it in his mouth i yell and he drops it runs and hides in a corner of the yard. Well the bird is limping and walking closer toward me im freaking out cause idk what to do and my mind thinks okay i can do it. I put it on the concrete and turn on the hose to try to was the wound i call my bf again and he is like its to late the dogs already got their teeth in it. I run back and the bird starts gasping for air and 10 secs later the bird flips over and shows me its wound i put water to get out the feathers and dirt it puts its head on my hand and takes more gasp then it just stops im freaking out and praying i tap it. That's when i see that it is dead i start crying and put it in a bag say a prayer and throw it in the trash. Come in and my bf hugs me and says you tried and then i come to my phone and im like i need to tell someone else how i feel so that's how this got posted
