boyfriend doesn't want to take me out anymore

we been together for 2 years and 8 months.. For the last 4 months or 5, we haven't gone on any dates anywhere.. We used to go everywhere but now he doesn't want to take me out anywhere, i mean i don't expect him to because he says he's "broke" all the time but he used to take me out and i'm wondering why he doesnt.. We don't live together but I want to see him and eat out because we always fight  all the time. Is he cheating on me ?
