After suffering from irregular periods at the age of 18, I decided it was time to go to the gyno for a exam and to talk to the dr. After telling him my symptoms he immediately diagnosed me with PCOS without doing any test or an ultrasound to determine if there were cyst on my ovaries. He just said I will need to be on birth control to regulate my periods. After awhile of being on bc, I hated the way it made me feel. I stopped taking it. My periods were regular for awhile then they went haywire. After my boyfriend and I got together, my cycle has been regular. When we have intercourse we don't use protection at all and are not careful, on purpose (we both want kids and say whatever happens, happens.) Every month when my period comes, I get sad cause I'm just worried that I will not be able to conceive. And it makes me upset to see all the people getting pregnant without even trying.
