No, seriously. She is the WORST mother to my husband and his siblings. My husband paid her rent for 5 years while he was in the military. He would often not have any money left over for himself because he wanted to make sure his younger siblings & mother were looked after. Little did he know, that she wasn’t paying rent and she was using his money to go out every night. And while this is happening, she’s getting money from my husbands father, my brother-in-law AND his wife. My husband and I got married and the funds were cut. She hated me because she saw me as the reason why she didn’t get his money anymore. The reason she got evicted and the reason she had to “work hard for her babies”. She’s been with a man who beats her senseless and was in prison for murder & numerous drug charges. We have rescued her out of numerous dangerous situations and we only did it because children were involved. We would go over to her house every now and then and we would always hear within 24 hours from my husbands siblings that she was talking shit about us. We just had our first child in July and we’ve cut almost all contact off with her. She is the most selfish, ungrateful, dishonest and disrespectful person I have ever met in my life. My heart aches for my husband.. that he grew up with that lack of love and care.

My MIL is horrible. No matter WHAT I do, she is ALWAYS mad at me.

I love my mother in law to death! But I can only handle her in small amounts or she gets to much for me to handle.

We don't have a lot in common but we can enjoy each others' company for several days at a time. Drama free. I think I made out pretty well with the MIL lottery.
