Going about getting married?

I live in Tennessee and my fiancé and I are wanting to get married at the court house.. I know we have to pay for the marriage license, but what do you have to do afterwards? Do you have to schedule another date to get it signed or do they do it at the same time you purchase the license?

We had to pick up our license, have a judge marry us, then file or license at the same place we picked it up.
