Positive for cholestasis of pregnancy
27 weeks today. My OB called this evening to tell me the blood test I got last week came back positive for cholestasis of pregnancy (related to liver function). I'm a little scared. I didn't get a chance to talk to my OB as I was on a flight when he called and the office was closed by the time I landed and got the voicemail.
My extreme itching EVERYWHERE started about 10 days ago and I immediately scheduled an appointment to be seen. Thank goodness I did!
Anyone have stories of being diagnosed with this yourself? I'm sure everything will be fine but it's still nerve wracking.
