Hi all. Pardon the dumb question but can someone please explain how many weeks vs how many months I am pregnant??? I'm 20 weeks and according to some sources my 21st week starts my 6th month??? Some say I'll be 5 months. TIA

20 weeks is the beginning of your 6th month of pregnancy, just as your child's 1st birthday is now the beginning of their second year of life. It's not that you have already COMPLETED your 6th month, it's that you are BEGINNING your 6th month.
