Guys are confusing 😪

me and this guy dated years ago. we had a mutual break up due to certain circumstances in our family, & school. well, he had been trying to get back with me, for years! he showed he loved me, bought me things, stuck with me & everything! i was hesitant & going through a lot so i would be a bit distant. i'm better now, and i realized i really love him & we got back together. 

now i'm opening myself up to him a lot and i'm being a lot more affectionate. now HE is being distant. 

do guys like when you play "hard to get" or do they freak out when you suddenly start showing emotion???
