??How do you know you're Trans??

I Don't mean to offend anyone but this has been bothering my hubby ( He is a bio female, also noted below) especially with the rise of "trans trenders/special snowflakes." 
 Online he keeps a low profie and most people see him as cis male (through text) , when he asks other trans on how they know they're trans, he gets the cookie cutter " I feel I am male" even tho the person they ask is cis female and acts/presents as female or the "I like doing/wearing *typically male thing*.
He wants an honest answer, please.
Like how are you Trans if you are 100% comfortable with your bio-body, I know Trans people will go to a psychologist to determine that the need to transition isn't from some sort of trauma as a child. 
 *Things we both know, this information could be incorrect, but please provide refrences and links as to explaining why if possible.*

- PCOS can make some females think they are trans - senstivity to androgens - 
-Hormones are large part in trans identity, but not required - this is to make their body match their mind/view of themselves
- People do de-transition 
-Intersex people who don't get to choose their identy as a child do so later in life.
- Brains scans done one some trans people do indicate that it reacts the same way as their cis counterpart. Cis male - transmale.**
-  dysphoria is needed to be trans -this is cited to be the main reason people are trans, they do not match their body. Those who have been evaluated by a psychologist say this is correct?
- Some Trans people can Feel parts that they do not posess (Phantom orifices and appendages), this is if their brain profile does match their cis counterpart. amputees can feel limbs they do not have because of nuerological connections. 
- Genderfluidity is a type of trans but is seperate from being trans female/male.
Things about my partner
°Pre-op trans.
°He cannot take T, if he does he could die. That does not keep him from trying to present as male. 
°Has a higher level of natural testerone. -he can grow a little soul patch and stache-
°He didn't know he was trans till he reached sexual maturity, as a child he thought he was just strange, did not like things geared towards girls.
° Originally thought he was gay.
°Has very male mannerisms, in thinking and how he acts
° Has a desire to impregnate me?

Okay. Few things. (A lot actually whoops)
1) transtrenders DO NOT EXIST. Nothing is needed to be trans other than identifying that way. That's it.
2) dysphoria is not a requirement to be trans. It's not a medical condition that you need quite literally, a mental illness for. Dysphoria is considered a mental illness from what I know, though this does not mean being trans is. 
3)PCOS and ANY physical condition has NO ROLE in being trans. It may somehow lead to someone finding out they are trans, but it does not "trick" people into thinking they are or make them trans.
4) the de-transitioning stuff is largely fearmongering spread by transphobic cis people, VERY FEW people actually de-transition, and even among those few that do, the idea that it's life destroying is even less likely. Also note, there's a massive difference between de-transitioning and simply having your gender identity change or develop over time.
5) phantom boy parts are not present in all trans people, I would know. Also, the whole "cis/trans brain" thing is still arguable as far as I'm aware, and since we know that gender and sex are separate concepts, with gender being man made, I find it VERY hard to believe that somehow some make believe concept would cause me to have the same brain as a cis man 😂
It sounds like your partner might be trans, know one can tell you except him. I knew I was trans through experimentation. It was "oh, trans people exist? Maybe I'm unhappy because I'm not a girl, sure let's try that out" and viola. 
But while you're putting all these conditions on who can and can't be trans, OF COURSE he's unsure, he probably thinks he has to tick all these silly boxes to be trans that really, a lot of trans people can't conform to. The only way you're going to figure anything out for sure is to stop thinking so, well, narrow about it. Being trans isn't some exclusive club that you need a special badge and a password for, if you want in, you're in. Just. Be yourself.

As a young kid, I always had a much more natural rapport with other boys. It was always awkward and uncomfortable for me to interact with girls. It isn't even that I'm really into or good at traditionally masculine things. It was just always obvious to me that I wasn't a girl because it seemed like all the girls that were nice enough to let me play with them when we were kids seemed to understand each other and think in similar ways and I never felt that I fit in. I always felt like one of the gang hanging out with the other boys my age in my neighborhood even though they teased me a lot for being uncoordinated and bad at sports and everything.

Dysphoria is NOT needed to be trans. However a lot of people do have dysphoria.

People de-transition for multitudes of reasons. I'm thinking mainly because of bullying.

Transgender people just KNOW they're in the wrong body. For example Jazz Jennings knew by the time she was 4, she was a girl.

Is your husband a cis male? I am a cis woman with pcos and currently pregnant. My diagnosis put me into a deep depression because I knew what that meant for me hormonally.

To answer your question (the best I can) I know I am a woman because that's how I feel. I hate to sound cookie cutter but it has nothing to do with me having a vagina or breasts. If I were born male I'd make the transition to be a woman because internally that's who I am and I'm fortunate that my physical appearance reflects how I feel on the inside.

From my understanding, I hope someone will correct me if I am wrong, a physical transition isn't always necessary for an individual to transition from one gender to the next. I think the deeper part of it is for the individual to be comfortable with who they are and for society to recognize them as who they have become.
