I believe if you're financially stable and out on your own it's fine, as long as the relationship you're in is serious and committed. But honestly I think you should be older. I was 17 when I had my daughter and my bf and I have been great parents :)

Everyone matures at different rates and ages. I think actively trying to have a baby as a teenager when you're still living at home and don't have a stable income is irresponsible, however in some circumstances there are 18 year olds who are married and living together with stable incomes.
I was 18 when I fell pregnant and just turned 19 by the time he was born. It was not planned and we had been taking precautions to avoid it, however he turned out to be the best thing that's ever happened to me. We got our own place and I've been studying to work in a field that'll help me provide the best future I can for him. He's now kindy age.
