Does a cat stay high forever?

I know this really isn't relevant to this group but I really need help! My ex blew marijuana smoke in my cats face while I wasn't there, apparently she started walking wobbly and then ran away and didn't come back for a while, ever since then she has been extremely anxious and won't come home for days on end (she is an outside and inside cat), one minute she will be happy and meowing and the next she will be hissing and running away from me for no reason at all. I don't know what to do, I feel so guilty and I don't know how to help her! Advice is needed.
