We used KY lube. He rubbed down and throughout the process he would put more lube on. Its gotta be wet to not hurt because the anus doesn't produce any liquid like the vagina does. My hubby and I use baby oil gel. Go missionary, it's a little easier. Just go nice and slow, baby steps. For me, the all the way in/out motion (like regular sex) is a no-go. But small movements tht causes no friction can be quite nice. Also, giving yourself a little rub up front while he's at work in the anus can be very rewarding. I do it all the time. Here's what I do:

My bf & I use oil. He'll rub a little bit on me & I rub a little on him too. He'll then go in slowly, & it'll hurt.. So he pulls out a tries again. After he goes in again, the pain will go away & I feel nothing but pleasure.

I would suggest maybe lube (or spit.....) DO NOT use water😩😩😩 that will make everything worse. You can also have your partner warm you up.
