TMI- possible miscarriage?

WARNING- THE PICTURE IS GROSS. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A STRONG STOMACH, DO NOT LOOK AT THIS POST. I know it'll put a TMI warning but it's literally a picture of a huge blood clot. I warned you.

So I didn't have a regular period since March. I missed it April and May and spotted in June so I took pregnancy tests and out of 3, 1 came back positive. Since 2 others were negative I disregarded it and carried on with my life thinking it was my birth control (I'm on nexplanon). So, this month, I finally got a regular period. Well, I went to the bathroom and found this when I wiped. 
I don't know if it was a miscarriage, or if I'm having cysts, but while I was thinking I possibly could be pregnant I was having some symptoms such as growing breasts and constant nausea. I thought the boobs thing was just me growing, so once again disregarded it. I also hadn't been eating well AT ALL so disregarded the nausea as well. Does anyone have any idea what's happening to me? It's freaking both me and my boyfriend out.

I had a miscarriage in May, I had to insert the pills for the miscarriage. I went back a week later for an ultrasound to find out if I needed a D&C which I didn't. The doctor said there was still a few things that needed to come out but he was sure it would happen naturally. Well for the miscarriage I bled for about 3 weeks. Then stopped. Then a week later spotted for a week, stopped for half a week, for my period. I'm thinking "great, my cycle is back to normal". Spotted again a week later then stopped. Got my period a week early (a week ago) and everything was normal, when I went to the bathroom I noticed I had lost a massive amount of blood. I pulled out my tampon and something came out of me. It looked extremely similar to what you have but not as dark red. I started freaking out wondering if I should go to the doctor. But I thought that I've never seen anything like that before in all my years and I believe it was the miscarriage finally clearing out. Could explain why I spent the better part of 2 months bleeding. It also felt the same as when I was having the miscarriage. I'm not sure if this is what is happening to you, but if you are worried you should go to the doctor. I haven't gone to the doctor since after that everything seems okay but if it happens to me again I will.

If you think it is, then you should go have your blood checked as you'd still have HCG in your system.
