When to start buying stuff for the baby?

Excited and anxious, I was wondering when did all yall start buying stuff for ya baby?? Husband is excited and I'm excited, due March 2018. I just dont know when to start buying things and when to put up registries.

Over 6 weeks & I only got some good pregnancy books. I'm gonna do my best to hold off. I don't want a load of stuff all over the house 😂 we don't do registries here at all. I think I'd wait till late second semester for purchasing things & even later for bulkier items.

I'm due February 8, 2018 and we are waiting to register until 20 weeks. I may buy some things if I find them on sale after I get through the first trimester.

I just bought my wrap, because that's the one thing I always dreamed about, wrapping them close to me and carrying them- and then I bought my so a daddy diaper bag for Father's Day, all at about six weeks. Since then I've only bought two onesies, and a pack of onsjes, because they were adorable and on sale ($6 for all five!). Other than that I'm taking it slow for now- we're getting the baby Vans when we confirm there's only one and not twins (this Monday), because it's our little couples tradition to get new Vans shoes when we are celebrating, or just need a pick me up (we just loveee the shoes lol). Other than that I'll wait to buy a majority of things until I find out the gender, and we're setting aside money for diapers/wipes/bills etc, instead of stockpiling.

I would focus on your registry first. That take a of time and research for what fits your lifestyle. Don't buy anything yet because you want to know what you want to ask for and what you want to buy. Take this time to do so.e research bout safety, if its convertible, expenses and what you hope your family will provide you

We made registry at 12 weeks.  But we bought ZERO stuff until after shower at 28 weeks. We literally had everything we needed on the registry and everyone bought off of it, so we had to buy nothing. After shower we decided to add a few things that were too expensive for people to buy so we went on Amazon and spend about 2k on stuff we wanted.  But we bought nothing before the shower and we didn't NEED to buy all the extras...

My baby is due November. We have some 0-3m and 3-6m clothes. We also have quite a few packets of newborn nappies that a friend gave to us. We didn't get any of this stuff until 16 weeks.

My shower is in august when I'll be 28 weeks. Just trying to find the motivation to put together the gift list!

We plan to get the rest of the stuff end of September so we're ready as I'll be back at work by then (I'm a teacher).

I started to add little things to my registry at 14 weeks! Then when I found out the gender at 19, I loaded a bunch of things lol then my mom took me to target to scan some stuff when I was like 22 weeks I think?

I started buying things when I found out what I was having. I really didn't buy much besides crib, dresser, mobile etc. I started my registry at 15+ weeks but kept changing stuff on it a lot because I wasn't sure what I wanted and kept changing my mind. I have my baby shower Saturday July 8th and I'm 33+ weeks along and I'm waiting till the baby shower and then after that I will buy the rest of the stuff that I need. Honestly you have plenty of time so I wouldn't worry to much about it right now. I have 7 weeks left and I feel like I have a lot to do before my baby girl comes.

I started buy stuff right after we found out the sex at 16 weeks 3 days. Not much but just some things to get us started. I'm probably going to start to buy the bigger things an diapers wen I'm closer to 30 weeks
