I'm 14 weeks 2 days and I'm FTM is it to early to feel fetal movement/quickening? What does it feel like in your opinion?

Not too early, though it's not very common. I felt quickening at 13.5 weeks. When I laid on my back and focused I could feel tiny little things like gas bubbles, except I didn't have any gas. At 14 weeks exactly I felt the first definite kick, just like a little tap or poke from inside. I continued to feel one or two every other day for the next week, and then I started feeling them every day, and more every day, and stronger every day, til eventually I was in my third trimester and I could tell what parts of her body were poking out 😂😄

People always said it felt like butterflies when you first felt the baby, but to me it felt more like a muscle twitch

It's still pretty early though not impossible. I didn't feel it til he was more like 20 weeks but he is super small (IUGR baby). It felt like popcorn popping in your uterus to me. Now he actually kicks... and it is always close to my bladder so it feels like jumping on the bladder lol but I wouldn't trade it for the world

I felt it twice one day. Early on. Like maybe about your time. It's just like the fluttering they describe. I told my husband it was like champagne bubbles in there.

I'm 19 weeks and haven't felt it again since. But the baby is hitting all the markers for being healthy, so I'll just wait.

I felt my first at 15 weeks. Just twice one night as I was laying reaLly still. Didn't feel her again til 18-20 weeks. This second one I felt at 13 and it's been constant since. (26 weeks now)

Usually they say that it happens between 18-22 weeks. If it was a bubbly it could have just been gas but you never know!
