voluntary C-section?

Has anyone ever voluntarily asked their OB for a c-section? Just curious! How did it go?

I'm currently pregnant and told my OB I want a c section before I even found out I was pregnant !!!! We will see what happens !

I would never voluntarily ask to have one. My first was natural but with some complication so the 2nd i got a c section for safety reasons. 3rd n 4th c sections again and no choice with this last baby. I would love to do natural again just cant. Plus having c sections puts a limit on your body n # of babies.

Most doctors in my area will not do elective c sections unless there is already a c section history. Otherwise there needs to be medical reasons because insurance doesn't want to pay for the more expensive option for no reason.

Here they don't offer that, it has to be an emergency or for health concerns only :( I wanted one so bad but the more I've looked into c-section the more it terrifies me lol

I had an emergency section last time coz I never got past 1cm and babas heart dropped too long so this time
I'm having an elective ... shitting myself!
