Question about the app

Gone • Gone, sick of a lot of things in the chat rooms. Too many mean people on here. I`m bullied enough in my life.
What is the difference between bookmarks and participation tabs? Are notifications to the iPhone going to work differently? Notifications are great but they don't show me the whole post. I have posted all over the site/App so it's hard to know where it came from.
