What could it be?

I was 8 days late on af. Two bfn but all symptoms of pregnancy. Had sex and my SO came inside me ..two days later af came but it'd bright red. Not the usual start of my af. And I never had such bad cramps. I'm in so much pain. What could this mean? Possible implantation or just a weird af?
