Should I get a nose piercing even though I'm prone to keloids?

So I've had a piercing on my earlobe and I have bumps where the hole is because it's a keloid. And I also got surgery on my knee and the scars are developing keloids and my doctor says I'm most likely prone to getting them. And I've been wanting to get a nose piercing for soooo long but now I'm scared because I don't want my nose to have a bump on it..? Does anyone have a keloid on their nose piercing? Is it worth it?

That's all up to you. In my experience I've just moved on from the whole piercings thing it just never works. I've had both sides of my nose pretty much everywhere on my ears you can think of and my belly button. I've now left only 3 on each ear and allowed the others to close. Most with keloids that I will one day go to the dr to get removed... 😕

No. My daughter had hers pierced at 15 when i did mine. She is prone to keloids and bow has a blue keloid on her nose. She hates it. 😥

I had it on my nose and my piercing would constantly get infected.. I've had it out since I was like 19/20 (I'm 25 now) and you can still see a bump/scar from it 😏

I have a few keloid scars....sometimes I scar that way and sometimes I don't. I got my nose pierced 2 years ago and haven't had any problems and no keloid.

Noooo I wouldn't do it. A keloid on your ear you can hide. On your face???
But if you do watch it EXTREMELY carefully, any bump or lump take super serious and know the chances of you having to take it out are quite high

I had one on my eyebrow from the piercing there and I use sea salt soaks and it shrank. I also couldn't stop picking at it so it got huge. Now it's barely noticeable.
