First trimester bleeding

I took a home pregnancy test June 17, went into the ER the 22nd for bright red blood. They said I was pregnant still, went to my first appointment, didn't bother checking for the heart beat. I am now 7 weeks and 4 days and I am still waking up with brown blood every morning. At the end of the day I can take a pad off and not bleed but when I wake up the next morning my stomach can't help but turn and make me wonder what's going on☹️☹️ Dr. Said not to worry unless it's red again but I'm worried
