Partner not ready

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has experienced being ready for a baby but their partner is not quite ready. I feel like he is almost teasing me, he talks about having kids all the time and we discuss how we want to raise them, he shows me photos and funny videos of them and even tells me to buy things to put away but when I ask he doesn't want to try yet. If you have experienced this, how did you deal with it? I don't want to be pushy but I would like to stop using protection and allow nature to take its course
