Tampons before 6 weeks PP?

I officially started my period and I'm 5 weeks 1 day PP. I hate pads they truest gross me out so I was thinking of using a tampon? Has anyone else done this a little less than 6 weeks? If so please comment experience or if you think I shouldn't let me know.

Not worth the risk! I also am NOT a fan of pads but I was too afraid of disrupting the healing going on to stick a tampon in.

No, nothing in the vagina for 6 wks, you don't need to risk an infection. Yes the bleeding feels gross but it's not worth the risk

I used tampons at 5wks 3days pp. I’m fine. I also had sex at 2 1/2 wks pp and continued to do it. At my 6 week check up I was completely fine and healed. I just knew my body idk. Everyone heals differently.
