Should I be masturbating while TTC?

My other half works in Canada for 14 days straight then 7 days off home in the states..it's a 14/7 schedule.
We are TTC and sometimes I'm just so so in the mood I need to get myself off... We have sex like crazy while he's intown...  Do you feel this is bad to do while TTC?? 
Will this effect us TTC?

Your orgasm, or lack thereof during sex, is not important to conceiving, so why would an orgasm any other time have any affect?

As long as you are not forgoing sex to masturbate, it has no affect.

I agree with Amanda#1. Also masturbating helps you find out what you like which can make the times that you are having sex more enjoyable
