Does any one else get irritated when MIL takes your baby?

Idk why I do, but I don't really like her so maybe that why. And I'm a ftm and she 2months.

I get irritated when anyone but me or my husband takes the baby haha. I know it's illogical and I never say anything, I just figured it's some kind of caveman-esque protective instinct. It doesn't help that back when other people used to ask me to hold their babies I'd decline 'cause I was worried I could get some sudden impulse to drop kick it or something. I mean obviously I never would, but it's like how you get those intrusive thoughts when you stand on the edge of a cliff and think "I could totally throw myself off that right now", stuff like that. So yeah, don't trust myself not to ponder drop kicking someone else's baby, don't trust anyone else not to ponder it.

Sale here i dont really like her so it annoys me when she grabs him and when she baby talks to him. I also hate it when my baby cries and shes always asking whats wrong why is he crying its so annoying.

Yes, and not just MIL either. All my in laws. Whenever they come round they bicker over who gets to hold my daughter next, how long so and so has had her, "okay give her to me now, you've had your turn". Like she's some kind of fucking toy! 😡 and on the odd occasion I have said I need to take her to feed her or bath her, if my FIL is holding her he whinges "but I only just got herrrrr", yeah, well, don't come round at 6pm at night expecting her not to be getting ready for bed!!! It's even worse when baby grizzles and my husband tries to step in and grab his baby to console her. He gets his hand slapped away and told "nuh uh, you get her all the time", which isn't true at all. He gets her a couple hours a week between getting home from work, and in that time she's still with me half of it feeding. Just rude!!!
