Did your epidural make you sick?

I'm starting to think about my birth plan, even though I have until December. I am really sensitive to too much pain medicine and I'm worried that it I get an epidural, I'll be vomiting the whole time during my delivery! Any advice would be really nice, thanks ladies😋

I threw up during labor but that can just be part of your body working to get baby out. My nurse said my puking actually helped me push him out.

The epidural was amazing for me. I progressed from 3cm to 9cm in an hour. So they ended up letting me get the epidural at 9cm, for when I was gonna push. it made me very calm and I couldn't feel anything. I was sick my whole pregnancy, I lost 30 pounds. But I didn't throw up at all during labor. I'm pretty sensitive to pain medicine too! But the epidural for me was a life saver.

Had the epidural and it eas great. Ended up having a c section due to complications. Didn't get sick until they getting ready to wheel me out of the OR.

I threw up during transition, no epidural. IMO, there's wayyyyyyy worse side effects of an epidural than throwing up.
