So last night, my SO and I went out and we were walking along the intercostal, and he was high (from weed) and like he kept grabbing/slapping my ass, and at first It felt good but after a while it hurt and he slapped it one more time. Is this normal? My sister said it was lowkey abusive to leave marks. But let me know what you think please.

I said it felt good at first.  Did u tell him it hurt when it started to? Did he stop or continue ? 
If u didn't say anything,  the guy probably thought u were enjoying it. From a bdsm point of view, it's not abuse if that's what yr into. I've seen fetish parties where men and women were strapped against poles and beaten till bleeding raw, and they enjoyed it.
If it hursts and u are NOT enjoying it, then u better tell him that,  so he knows. The bruise looks normal for a bdsm point of view. It will go away. If u TELL HIM U DON'T LIKE IT AND HE DOES IT ANYWAY,  THEN THAT'S ABUSE. otherwise,  it's just rough sex/foreplay

My SO leaves his marks on me all the time but that's because I verbally say I want them and I say he's allowed to. If you say it hurts and you don't want it anymore , he should respect that. If not, it's turning abusive

I mean technically it's normal to have marks and scars after getting hit hard. It's basically a bruise, so yes it's normal. But him hitting your butt going from good to painful isn't. When it started getting painful he should of stopped.
