anyone know anything about webbed toes?

I've just discovered my newborn has two toes that haven't separated completely and I'm wondering about the causes for it and treatments. He also has a sacrel simple and extra leg crease that are currently being investigated could these be linked?

My husband has two toes on each foot that are fused about 3/4 of the way up. They dont cause him any issues at all. I think they can usually be separated, his parents just chose not to.

My daughter was born with two webbed toes. I love them I think they are the cutest thing! My doc says they are so common. She told me if it bothers her later in life it can be separated but it's not necessary.

I have 4 webbed toes, 2 on each foot. They're mild and have never made me self conscious. Heck, they're even a bit of joke for my family. We always say that I should be able to swim better than everyone else (:

My SO also has webbed toes and he's fine, it doesn't bother him at all. He also had webbed fingers he had fixed in HS with surgery. The reason he did that was so he could eventually wear a wedding ring otherwise he would of left it. I would just keep an eye on things and I'm sure his Dr will too and together you can decide if anything needs to be done.
