Baby shower for baby #3?

We have a 6year old and an almost 5 year old. We got rid of all our baby stuff long ago. We didn't really have a baby shower with the first two. Is it okay to have a showe for the third?

I have the same problem I have an 8&6 year old both boys with my ex. Now I'm with a new man and it's his first baby and I'm having a girl this time and got rid of all the boys stuff a long time ago, and have to figure out how to get everything bought and paid for. My family doesn't think it's proper to have a shower for me because i had one 8.5 years ago for my first! And i dont know if my MIL will have one with her family or throw one for me with both families so if not I'll be maxing out all my credit cards just for baby basics haha. I think every baby especially 5 years apart deserves something! Even a sprinkle. Throw your own if no one does! Funk what people think! At least do a diaper raffled with a basic and get some diapers! Haha

I'm pregnant with my third as well.  My other kids are 11 and 9.  I will definitely be having a shower for this baby.  I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

My mil is throwing us one! I hve 2 boys with a previous bf who has nothing to do with them (his choice). They are 8 And 6 and now having a third boy. It's my husbands first baby so his mom is throwing us one :)

Almost exact to my situation. We have a 10yr and 7yr old and no baby items. I was worried no one would offer to host a shower because it isn't my first but luckily a lifelong friend knew how expensive preparing for a baby can be and offered to host a shower for me.

I think having a shower for each child is special u are representing that child you don't have to ask for a ton of things, but just to have family and friends surrounding you for a support thing is always great

I am pregnant with my third. Didn't have a shower with either of my first two. But I was lucky enough to have TWO with this pregnancy. I didn't plan them, friends totally put them together for me. It was most appreciated because my older kids are 9 & 6. I didn't have any baby stuff left!
