How do you feel about mothers who smoke weed?

I smoked weed before I found out I was pregnant and I don't know if I will smoke after he's born. I WILL NOT BE HIGH AROUND MY CHILD. I WILL NOT SMOKE IN FRONT OF MY CHILD. How do you feel about mothers that smoke marijuana?

Their choices, I will not judge any mother for whatever reason. If their children are alive and healthy, I'd let them live.

I smoked before I got pregnant, stopped for my pregnancy and won't be able to smoke again until after I'm done breastfeeding. I think it's fine if a mother smokes as long as it's not in front of the child, and she doesn't get high enough that if effects her mobility and senses too much to the point where it's harder for her to be taking care of the kid. And obviously I hope she has it locked away somewhere where the kid can't get to it

One scientific study in Jamaica indicated that mothers who smoked cannabis while pregnant had children who were healthier and more emotionally stable than mothers who didn't smoke cannabis while pregnant. The study followed up with the children for years after their birth and the results remained the same. Just some food for thought.

Doesnt bother me i think moms should smoke all the pot they want, relieve some stress, take off some of the anxiety, get out of a depression, whatever they need it for, just not in front of the kids.

Same as I feel about drinking. When a child is involved, there should always be an adult in the home capable of caring for the child's basic needs or an emergency situation. If you're the only adult or your partner also pertakes, you should never be more intoxicated than that. I personally don't smoke but I drink wine, but never more than one or two glasses unless my husband is completely sober so in case one of our kids needs something, I am capable of handling it, holding the baby safely etc.

Keeping it away from your child is the only thing I would care about. Seeing you said you would I say if it's legal where you are go for it. I honestly think it should be legal but I never want to suggest it's ok if it's not legal where you are. Just my education talking (criminal justice degree)

It's legal in my state, so I view it the same as alcohol.
