When did you or when will you stop breastfeeding?

When did you choose to stop breastfeeding?

my goal is at least 2 years old!:) it's so incredibly good for baby, i can't imagine not doing it if i am able to

I planned to stop breastfeeding my first at 6 months but that did not happen lol both my boys breastfed till they were 2!

I planned to breastfeed at least until 2, and my son weaned spontaneously at 2y4m... it was very gradual and peaceful, at that point he was only nursing to fall asleep and on a hot summer night he said no more and just rolled over and fell asleep on his own, and that was it

Stopping breastfeeding at 6 months, but going to introduce solids and give breastmilk via bottle until age 1. I want her off the breast at 6months, currently she's 5 weeks and takes 1 bottle a day and the rest breast.

Until he decides he's done! My first self weaned around 17 months and my current is still going strong at 13 months

I didn't choose to stop breastfeeding I actually wanted to do extended breastfeeding with  my youngest. But at 6 months she stoped wanting to be at the breast so I obviously did not force it I would offer the breast and she did not want it at all. Ok and then at 7 months she refused to take bottles so She got her first Sippy cup and then now at 18 months she's got one of those 360 cups their cool as all get up! Omg best thing ever. I'm 110% all for child lead weening because they are not dumb they will tell us when they are ready. :) trust your baby to know his or her needs.
