Vaccines????

I'm having my baby any day now, and the doctors have been asking me if I'm going to get my son vaccinations. I never thought about it until now, but I'm actually scared after reading up on different adverse affects they can cause. Autism mainly. What are you guys doing or have done?

If you're more scared of having an autistic child than a dead one you need to check your priorities. 
Autism isn't caused by vaccines. The age autism sign and symptoms show up just so happens to be around the time of the MMR.
What if your child is healthy and unvaccinated, but comes into contact with a sick child or adult with a weakened immune system. Are you willing to live with putting infants and immune compromised people at risk of becoming deathly ill.

There is no evidence vaccines cause autism, that's all a huge hoax. Vaccines save lives. Doctors are a better source than anything you'll read anywhere.

They don't cause autism. We are vaccinating. It is the right thing to do. It protects people who are immunocompromised, as well as your child. It doesn't cause autism, but if it did, is autism worse than your child dying of pertussis?

Please vaccinate, the benefits outweigh the risk. Talk to your pediatrician if you have concerns. If you don't vaccinate, places (day cares, schools) may refuse to keep or teach your child. Plus we've come so far in medicine that why potentially put your child through deadly diseases that could be prevented with a vaccine. It is ultimately your decision, but please do more research and talk to your doctor about the benefits and don't focus so much on the risks....everything medical comes with some type of risk no matter what it is or how small it is.

I hate when pro vaxxers say “i find it sad that ex vaxxers are” “afraid of autism". Let me clear this up for you:
What I want to know is where do they (anyone who is pro vaxx) get off thinking we're "AFRAID" of autism?
I'm not afraid of autism.
I'm afraid of injuring my son because of vaccines and the poison in them. 
I'm afraid of the harmful side effects listed on the CDC website and in the inserts.
I'm afraid of my son having an adverse reaction to a vaccine because of my (previous) ignorance.
I'm afraid of everything about vaccines. Not autism.
I am not and NEVER WILL BE AFRAID of having a child BORN with any kind of defect (mental or physical). However I AM AFRAID OF GIVING VACCINES TO MY CHILD BECAUSE I COULD POTENTIALLY HARM MY OWN CHILD!!
How is that so difficult to comprehend?! I just don't get it!
My mother inlaw is a caretaker she works with autistic women she lives with them and they’re AMAZING and very smart humans . So I understand a little bit about autism and I don't think they’re any different than you or I!
So you pro vaxxers need to stop putting words in our mouths. Start spreading truth. Education is key. Research and form your own opinion .

It's as simple as vaccines save your child's life. Whooping cough can be fatal for infants. 
Vaccines do not cause autism. We have all been vaccinated for decades, we were vaccinated as kids and we are fine.

My MIL sworn vaccines caused something.  She decided to delay them for a couple months with her first born.  That being said my husband was constantly in the hospital as a baby.  He even got measles.  Almost died.  
Of course sister in law got them right when she was suppose to never got sick like him.
