So I'm 7 weeks and 6 days pregnant, I've had three scans so far, the last was at 6 weeks and 4 days to check my babies heartbeat which was good and strong but I was told that when I became pregnant again I would be getting weekly scans from then on to check my babies growth every week and start checking the brain making sure everything is forming correctly. At my last GP appointment he told me to just wait for my antenatal letter to come and it has but I know this midwife appointment obviously doesn't include a scan otherwise they would've requested I drink a lot of water and I'm fairly certain the first appointment is about family history and such, I am beyond confused about where the hell these weekly scans are I was promised. Will the midwife discuss that with me? They know about my last baby and were soo good with me but I don't understand what is happening now? Has anyone at all been through this? It's not supposed to be treated as a normal pregnancy until I reach 13 weeks and I get the all clear completely. It's making me so sad, what should I do, I really need some advice badly.
