Birthing classes -are they worth it ?

My hospital is all booked out and private classes are pricey. Should I be stressing trying to find alternatives, are classes worth it ?

I didn't take any classes and I don't think it's necessary.

We took an 8 hour class and I used zero information from it. I already knew basics and I personally do not feel like it helped me at all.

Everything I learned in the birthing class, I already learned online. Do one or the other but both aren't necessary.

I did not take any classes in 39 weeks and just watched some classes on YouTube

Just look up what you have questions about online. That's free. If u find a free class in person, go for it. I'd suggest saving your money for your baby.

I wasn't able to afford a full Bradley class so I did a one day "refresher " course. Both my husband and I found it extremely helpful! Not worth stressing about, but absolutely helpful!
