Is it safe to take a bath in early pregnancy?

I am incredibly stressed out (husband broke his back from a fall, a day after I told him I'm pregnant 😞💔). Been at the hospital for two days and will probably be here for a few more. I have heard you can't take baths in pregnancy because of the heat. Please let me know, and send prayers if you have it in your heart ❤️

Yep you can but of course dont take a really hot bath...a warm bath will be fine! Also dont use bubbles. If you want bubbles you can put in a mild soap like baby shampoo or some other gentle soap...we become really sensitive during pregnancy. Also make sure the tub is super clean first to cut the risk of bacteria since we have easy entry for bacteria!!! So sorry bout your hubby!!! I hope he feels better💖💖💖

Yeah you can take baths as long as they aren't too hot or too long. The docs just don't want your core body temperature to get too high. Same thing for hot showers-keep it cooler and shorter.
