Baby names!

I'm hoping it's a girl so I don't have to go through this name picking stuff lol. But anyways the only name I've really liked was Monty. My fiancé keeps telling me it sounds like a dogs name 🙄 he said the same thing when I suggested Charlie as a name..I told him that's it is irrelevant. Our dogs name is Max! Which is a human name! So I suggested Montgomery (Monty for short) and now he is telling me that it's not a real name. I need help. Advice and opinions please?
