Possibly not getting induced today?

So my OB scheduled an induction for this Morning at 8 am and I had to call L&D; to see if they had an open bed at 6 am. They didn't and told me to call back at 8. I'm a ftm and getting nervous I won't get in today I'm 41 weeks and completely miserable. Has this happened to anyone else? Stories? I know it's still early in the am, but was hoping to get in right away to get things started.
