when did you start trying to bring on labour? 😊

I'm 36 weeks and I know it's still too early to try bringing on labour myself and have no desire to. But I am technically term next week and I am so uncomfortable so wondering when other women started trying to get labour started? was it as soon as you were term or did you wait until 38-39 weeks? at the end of the day my baby's safety is more important to me than my comfort so I won't do anything without my midwifes go ahead- just looking for general advice. thanks 😊
