Less movement? 38+5

Question

Ladies! FTM here. I'm 38+5 and have noticed that in the past two days the baby has been way less active than most of the pregnancy. Usually active off and on throughout the day and then awake most of the night. 
But the past two days baby doesn't move at all at night and very little throughout the day. I do see my doctor Friday, but has anyone had this with any of their pregnancies? 
Maybe it's normal for baby to move less towards the end?

I'd go get checked if I were you. My Dr advised to come in for a check if baby wasn't following normal moving patterns.

I had the same thing. Bub was moving all the time, most of the day and every time I got up during the night. Then at 39+3 I noticed she hadn't really moved in 12 hours. I rang my midwife and went to be monitored, very little movement was traced but everything else looked good. I wasn't happy with the movement so I went for an ultrasound and no movement was seen for 20 minutes. They decided to induce me the next day and baby was born with no problems at 39+4. If you're worried at all definitely call, apparently after Bub was born they found my placenta had started to calcify and that was mostly the reason she had slowed down. Good luck!

Defiantly phone up and speak to someone. I have this problem a lot and I've been monitored twice now but each time was fine. I find we are so busy sometimes you don't realise or feel movement. But if noticed if you just spend an hour a day to just sit and focus on their movements. And your happy with the amount then you should be fine.
