When you got to the hospital how much were you dilated?

Both times my waters broke so I had to go in anyway to get checks and sent home both times because I wasn't dilated then when I went back I was 3-4 with my first and 5 with my second I always find it hard to know when to go in incase they send you home 🤔

4cm. I was advised to come in when contractions are about three in ten minutes and such that you have to stop what you're doing and concentrate on breathing through them. That's the point at which active labour really begins, 4cm. I was surprised myself that we got to the hospital spot on that 4cm mark! Good decision though because soon after I was struggling with pressure from baby's head pushing down and I was able to get diamorphine to take the edge off.

I was 0cm then 45 minutes later i was holding my baby😂😂😂
