Im pretty clueless here. 
Anyone's baby father on Child Support ? what State are you in and how much does the father pay and why ? Any of the fathers been unemployed?

You should research child support in the state you live in. They usually go by income, if the father doesn't have a job I'm not sure how they come up with a payment amount.

I live in Michigan and the amount a father pays depends on how much he makes, and then for each kid after the first one only like 10-30 dollars is added on, but for that first and only kid the amount is usually really high, like my dad had to pay around 150-200 just for me, and then an extra 10-20 for my little brothers. And if the father is unemployed then his child support will back up and if he gets to a certain amount then he could have a warrant out for his arrest. My dad is really behind on his child support so even though I'm 18, he will still be paying like I'm still on the child support until he catches up and pays it all off.

I'm in Michigan. My ex husband pays child support for our 7 year old, he works but I make a lot more than he does and I hold the insurance and have primary custody (joint legal custody). He pays $388/month. I've heard of some unemployed dads only paying like $10/month. 
I know here they go by income or sometimes potential income if the courts believe someone is avoiding paying child support. 
During my divorce, we had the option of coming up with our own agreement or we could go with their equation. 
The important thing is to go through with it.
