I had my little boy 8 weeks ago and I had a second degree tear and I can feel a thick lumpish thing where they stitched, is this normal and will it go down? It feels like thick scar tissue and I haven't had anyone check yet as they were meant to send a letter for my check up but I still haven't received one. My health visitor is away for a few weeks so I'm not sure when I will get it. It's putting me off having sex and I'm worried incase i will have to have an operation to remove it. My biggest question is, is this normal?
