Help! How many Embryos should I transfer?

I am 37years old (38 in March) I have my fresh embryo transfer tomorrow and we haven't decided how many embryos to transfer. The embryos will be Day three and I was advised 8 fertilized, I have yet to find out the quality etc. The doctor previously stated that he likes to transfer two but the friend who recommended me to him said she did 3 each time the first she had a miscarriage at 8 weeks, second was sucessful (she now has a beautiful 8 month old boy) she advised that when she transferred hers the doc said he would do 2 but the Embrologist said 3 so they did 3 each time. We would be very happy with twins, triplets may be a bit too much. 🤞🏻👶🏻🙏🏻 I am really torn what to do! I think ultimately our choice 2-3. I should add that I am a twin myself with a non identical sister. This would be our first IVF and hopefully first pregnancy. All self funded no insurance or aid etc.
