period and plane flights?

got my period a few days ago and now I need to be on an 11 hour plane ride a little nervous. Any advice?

I travelled 30 hours on my 2nd day of period. Heavy flow but luckily no cramps. Bring extra panties & pants. Also bring more sanitary products, they do have it on the plane but I wouldn't recommend it unless emergency. It will be uncomfortable for sure. Drink more water and get up to pee. It wasn't that bad honestly because there wasn't any cramps but the flow was annoying. Depending on where you're traveling, best to change your pad/tampon before you alight the plane as customs/immigration can take a long time. Took me about 2 hours just to get through US customs.

Answer

It's the same as any other day on your period. Bring pads and tampons, go to the bathroom and change them often. Being pain relief if you need it.
