Weight gain with implant?

Question

Have any of you gained weight with the birth control implant? (Nexplanon) I've been on it since October 2016 and I've noticed a major increase in my weight...
Did any of you switch due to weight gain? 
I'm a mom to a 9 month old so I figured the implant would be convenient for me (and help me prevent babies!) but I'm starting to regret it ☹️

Gained 60lbs, hair fell out in patches, cystic acne all over my face, neck and chest. Took it out and the acne cleared up except for one damn spot on my face. Hair is back to normal and I lost 20lbs in the first 3 weeks it was out. Not all of it is Nexplanon's fault, turns out I have PCOS and it somehow aggravated it? I don't know, but I don't trust hormonal BC anymore. I would definitely get a hormone panel before ever getting an implant again.

Not really I gained maybe 30lbs give or take over the entire 3 years but my eating habits had worsened so that what I really attribute the weight gain to

Got it in April 2017. No weight gain or acne problems. I'd say everything is pretty normal other than weird periods since I've been spotting but that's normal during the first 3 months

Yes! I gained 25 lb in 2 months !! And bled the whole time. I got off of it at the end of that second month but the damage was done and I barely fit in my wedding dress 😑. still trying to get the weight off 2 years later.

nope, I've actually lost weight, I gained a lot of weight on the drop (weighed 185) but now I weigh 159
